Yes, it has happened. I’ve finally got around to watching the entire Dawson’s Creek series. It was inevitably going to happen with my strange magnetism towards pathetic teen drama television and movies. This one is especially intriguing to me considering the time period it looms in. In actuality 1998 is not too far behind us, but considering how stylistically and technologically evolved we have and are still becoming, everything in this high school fiction manifesto is fascinating from the constant denim donning to the casual climbing through windows anytime we feel like it attitude. Small town familiarity, cellulars being a luxury, working at the video store, student-filled high school lawn, and middle parts galore. This show has it all.
